Supercomm: ZeroNines™ demonstrates business continuity on Intel® Architecture-based Carrier Grade Servers on CNN

Carrier Grade Multicasting Engine provides Global Continuity

Georgia/Atlanta, June 5, 2002 - ZeroNines™ Technology, Inc. (ZeroNines™) will launch its highly anticipated Carrier Grade Multicasting engine when it rolls out the FS200 Series -- code-named "FailSafe" -- at this week's Supercomm in Atlanta, Georgia. Alan Gin, CEO and Keith Fukuhara, CTO of ZeroNines™ demonstrated what many industry insiders have called "Disruptive Technology" for the Disaster Recovery industry for Intel CEO, Craig Barrett during a interview for CNN. The application is being hosted on the Intel(R) Architecture-based Carrier Grade 1U and 2U Servers that were announced last year.

The demonstration shows a client multicasting files across multiple nodes across a high-speed network within their architecture to a Windows 2000 Advanced Server™ and a Red Hat Linux™ Server. This is clearly a benefit of the Intel® Architecture-based Carrier Grade Servers that offer Telecom customers a choice of their favorite operating system, a clear distinction from other competitive architectures. The files will arrive in their native format on both servers simultaneously. The client will request a file and during the retrieval process one of the Servers will fail, however, transparent to the client - the client will receive the requested file in tact.

“The tragic events of 9/11 have significantly raised awareness that current Disaster Recovery solutions are unacceptable to businesses that rely on Information Technology to operate,” says John Botdorf, Chairman of ZeroNines™. "We are providing Operating System, Storage and Networking solutions that are agnostic to companies demanding beyond 99.999% availability."
