Castle Rock/Co, September 16, 2010 - Alan Gin, Founder and CEO of ZeroNines® Technology, Inc. (www.zeronines.com) announced the company's highly anticipated ZenVault™ Medical portal (www.zenvault.com/medical) during a panel presentation on Cloud computing at this week's Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco, CA.

Mr. Gin presented ZenVault Medical as an example of a consumer product running in the Cloud on ZeroNines Always Available™ CloudNines™ Cloud architecture during the "Cloud Computing End Users" panel. Panel participants included industry leaders Dr. Jason Choy, VP and Distinguished Engineer, JPMorgan Chase & Co.; Shishir Garg, Director of Middleware & Platforms Group, Orange Labs; and Jason Mendenhall, Exec. VP, Switch Networks. Jake Smith, Advanced Server Technologies, Intel, facilitated the panel. This distinguished panel shared their experiences with implementing enterprise-level projects in the Cloud.

"The two most prevalent issues today with deploying critical applications in the Cloud are security and reliability," said Gin. "We believe we have overcome both problems and we're demonstrating this by offering a Cloud-based consumer product that demands extremely high uptime and security in order to deliver on service level requirements and to potentially save lives."

ZenVault Medical enables consumers to post their own medical records online in a convenient and highly secure Personal Health Record (PHR). Customer data is protected by a patent-pending variant of the NSA-approved encryption protocols that protect top-secret information. Health summaries can be made available to Emergency Medical Services (EMS) like hospital emergency rooms in case patients are unable to speak for themselves. High availability is critical since patients' lives may depend on doctors getting timely and accurate information about existing medical conditions, allergies, and drug sensitivities.

"ZenVault shows how our CloudNines technology addresses the Cloud reliability issue," said Gin. "CloudNines runs multiple instances of transactions in geographically dispersed locations to protect applications at the transaction level. We understand that virtualized servers are vulnerable outside of a single subnet, and our technology allows us to continue processing applications without losing transactions in flight despite events that would normally cause outages."

CloudNines is a Cloud hybrid configuration utilizing ZeroNines' patented Always Available Multisynchronization architecture which leverages virtualized servers in multiple Clouds to ensure virtually 100% uptime. Always Available is both Microsoft® HyperV™ certified and VMware® certified.

Intel's Jake Smith said, "The Intel Developer Forum was an exciting event for Intel and we believe that the Cloud Computing End Users panel shed light on some significant real-world deployments. Enterprises see great potential for CAPEX and OPEX benefits and want to move business applications to the Cloud. We are pleased that ZeroNines chose this forum to announce ZenVault Medical and how it mitigates concerns over security and reliability, two issues that have hindered Cloud adoption."
